    Have used before and usually really good. Ordered last month and waited nearly an hour and a half for it to be delivered, when it arrived it was cold and all our drinks were missing. Gave them another chance tonight as thought it might have been a one off, waited and and called to find out where is was.... To be told they’d forgotten about our order!!!

    I've never been a fan of the amerikun "K" brand of fried chicken and for this reason I tried my luck at Simpsons, located on Hailsham's High Street.Whilst the greeting I received was somewhere between lukewarm and brain-dead, I found the chicken to be precisely as it should - crispy on the outside and moist & flavourful on the inside. Well worth the visit despite the parking challenges the high street presents.I wrote this initial review approximately years ago and am updating it now, confirming the fact that I quite enjoy their chicken. The staff have always been polite and friendly towards me and the chicken has been consistently lovely. The men who serve me work professionally and ensure I'm well served. The chicken is always hot and the product is just how I like it: crispy and flavourful skin and most, tender chicken inside. Over the years the staff have come to anticipate my needs and work hard to ensure I receive what I enjoy most. Compared to the other 'chicken' companies who only use initials to describe what they're selling, I find Simpson's to be the absolute best fried chicken available in the UK and it certainly beats

    Its turned crap, theres always stuff missing and the food is cold.It used to be good up until about months ago but has really gone downhill.The food quality is now awful and it always comes min - hr late.When it does come, it's always cold with something missing.When you ring up to tell them they just say, "next time u order we'll give u something extra. I'm not really interested in that, I'd rather get what I ordered and paid for, especially when we have guests round and it's already an hour late!!

    Food has dropped in quality (which was great and now good), yet prices continue to rise. Staff are pleasant as always. Way too long for delivery. Well over an hour. May need to reflect this on your website. Chicken tenders were much smaller than usual with grisly bits. Such a shame. We have been eating from Simpsons for years and always felt -star. Something seems to have changed for the worst sadly. I will order again, but not for a while.
